Leave it to a savvy New Yorker to cash in off this!! Kid was a genius. Just moments after the announcement came that Osama bin Laden had been captured, 23 year old Maurice Harary put up tee-shirts commemorating his death and voila….over $100k in just under 2 days!!! UGH why didn’t I think of that?! Could have paid off my student loans and my car, LOL.
Upon hearing the news, Maurice immediately made a website to sell his “OBL is dead” tees, which went live 3:30am Monday morning. By Tuesday night…he’d already sold 10,000 shirts for $12 each!!! Ballinnnn!!
