2Pac’s only screenplay to be made into a film

Back in 1995 while serving an 11-month incarceration 2Pac wrote a story called “Live 2 Tell”. 16 years later his mother Afeni Shakur is hoping to bring his one and only screenplay to the big screen. It will go into production sometime next year. Preston Holmes and Ivan Juzang’s NStar Studios will be heading the production along side Afeni. They worked together before in the2003 documentary Tupac: Resurrection. Juzang had this to say about Tupac to Variety “[2Pac] was a genius, and the net of it is, he was from this community, he knew the struggles these young people were dealing with, And he’s able to talk to young people in 2011, 2012, the same way he was able to talk to young people in 1995.” Not much is known about the movie. It will tell a story about a young drug dealer struggling to leave an unlawful life. The budget for the film is $11 Million
