Jordin Sparks has been getting a lot of media coverage around her weight loss. Indeed, the lady looks great, but to me she always did. Jordin says her secret to getting the body she has is courtesy of Zumba classes, small portioned meals and taking on a healthier lifestyle.

'Bone Thugs' Rapper Accused of Tour Bus Beatdown

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper, Bizzy Bone, is under investigation in Chicago for allegedly beating up TWO fans after a concert last week ... TMZ has learned.




Law enforcement sources tell us ... the two alleged victims -- both male -- told police they each paid $80 for a meet-and-greet with the rappers on their tour bus last Thursday night ... but when they entered the vehicle, Bizzy flipped out.

One of the men told cops the screaming match quickly escalated ... and Bizzy began  throwing punches. Bizzy allegedly wailed on BOTH men until another member of the group stepped in and broke things up.

We're told both of the fans appeared bruised after the alleged attack -- and one of the men claims he suffered a broken nose.

Chicago Police confirm one of the men filed a police report against Bizzy the following day. 

Cops tell us they have not spoken to Bizzy about the incident, but are actively investigating the complaint.

Calls to Bizzy's reps have not yet been returned.

Jordin Sparks Leaving ABC Studios + Plaxico Burress Goes Shopping

Jordin Sparks was seen uptown in NYC today leaving ABC studios after appearing on "Live With Regis and Kelly," while Plaxico Burress was spotted enjoying his freedom and getting some retail therapy elsewhere in Manhattan.  Pics inside....

Jordin Sparks was in NYC today where she appeared on "Live With Regis And Kelly."  Looks like she tapped back into hrher colorful hair she used to rock.

Plaxico Burress was spotted outside the Apple Store.  He was on a free man's shopping spree today.


He hit up the nearby Sunglass Hut.

Three Lawsuits Filed in W Hotel Fall + Update on Survivor’s Condition.

The tragic accident that resulted in the falling death of one woman and the serious injury of a second woman late last month, has sparked several lawsuits against the midtown Atlanta hotel involved.

Two lawsuits were filed last week, one by Maurice Threatt (father of the deceased model) on behalf of his daughter’s estate; the second by Gloria Williams, mother of Ciara Williams, 25, the friend who was seriously injured in the fall.
A third lawsuit was filed this week on behalf of Threatt’s 14 year old daughter, signaling a bit of dissension within the deceased model’s family…

LaShawna’s father, Maurice Threatt, alleged that the window in room 2012 had been previously broken and improperly replaced. Mr. Threatt has also filed to become sole executor of his daughters estate.
But according to WSB-TV, The Cochran Firm was retained by Imonee’s grandmother, Sharon Traylor, LaShawna’s fiancé, LaRay Hamilton and a close family friend, Jacqueline Whiteside.
The 3 have filed their own wrongful death and negligence suit on behalf of Imonee Williams, 14, daughter of LaShawna Threatt, 30, who died from instantly from her fall on May 28, 2011.

A statement from the firm, released Friday, said that Imonee is “the only person legally entitled to bring a wrongful death suit in the case.”
The suit lists W Hotel Management, W Hotels Real Estate, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Nobel Investment Group, Noble-AEW Colony Square, AEW Capital Management and AEW Partners as defendants.

Threatt’s fiance’ has also petitioned the court to be appointed legal guardian of Imonee. The law firm’s statement says the both the petition and lawsuit were filed at the 14 year old’s request.
On a lighter note, Ciara Williams, the sole survivor of the incident, remains in critical condition but is reportedly getting better every day.
Gloria Williams said her daughter remains in intensive care at Grady Hospital for Trauma in Atlanta.

“She’s been taking a couple steps forward, but then she takes a couple steps back,” Gloria Williams said. “It’s just going to be a day-by-day thing.”

Williams said she’s not sure how her daughter survived the fall.

“The Lord was with her. There’s no other way,” she said. “It’s a miracle because she’s still alive today. Each day she’s alive is even better. Everyday she survives is a blessing.”

Ciara Williams has been heavily sedated and is on a ventilator.
Friends say her lungs are getting stronger each day and they are being patient, allowing the healing process to take time.
A “Ciara Williams Support” page has been created on Facebook, where updates on her condition are posted periodically.
Williams did not have health insurance and her family has been struggling with her medical costs. Donations can be made via the following:

Several questions remain unanswered surrounding the bizarre accident with many expressing doubt that the W Hotel window “just broke” after the girls were “play fighting”…

We’ll probably never know for sure what happened on that fateful evening, but what we DO know is that two lives will forever be changed. Let’s keep them all in our prayers…

Nia Long was spotted on a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with what appears to be a cute, little baby bump. This will be the 40 year-old Love Jones actress’ second child. Her first son from a previous relationship, Massai Zhivago Dorsey II is now 10 years old. The DVD for her latest film, Mooz-Lum hit stores yesterday.

2 Men Arrested for Plotting to Rob and Murder Singer Joss Stone!!

Wow I’d be beyond freaked out if I was Joss Stone!! Two men are now currently under arrest for allegedly conspiring to rob and murder the young singer. Yikes!! At least they’re behind bars, though.

The official statements do not name Stone as the target, but the details all focus on the proximity of the men to Stone’s home in Cullompton, England.
The Sun newspaper reports the men had swords, rope and a body bag, as well as maps and aerial photos of Stone’s property. Police have not confirmed the reports.
Stone’s reps say the singer is aware of the situation but would not say if she was at home at the time the men were arrested near her property.
The 2 men are being questioned at a police station, but they have not been charged.
Interesting side note … Joss’ friends include Prince William and Prince Harry, and she was at William and Kate’s wedding.
UPDATE: Joss just released a statement saying, “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their enquiries.”

Mavs’ DeShawn Steveson Arrested for Public Intoxication

Dallas Mavericks shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson was arrested for public intoxication in Irving, Texas, on Tuesday night, two days after the franchise won its first NBA championship.
Irving police were called to the Grand Venetian apartment complex at about 10:30 p.m. CT after receiving a call to report an intoxicated person walking in the area. Officers reported that Stevenson, who does not live at the complex, appeared intoxicated and did not know where he was.
He was arrested without incident on the Class C misdemeanor charge based on the results of a sobriety test, officer’s observations and his statements.
“They felt he was a danger to himself and others,” Irving public information officer John Argumaniz said. “Basically, he was intoxicated to a point where he didn’t feel comfortable letting him walk away or leave. They didn’t have any other options at that point.”
Stevenson was released on $475 bond at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The Mavericks said they were not aware of the incident and declined comment.
Stevenson, who will be a free agent on July 1, is a rugged role player praised by teammates and coaches for his professionalism after bouncing in and out of the starting lineup all season.
Stevenson started throughout the playoffs until coach Rick Carlisle opted to replace him with J.J. Barea in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Stevenson still played a key role in the series, averaging 7.0 points in 17.2 minutes while making 13-of-23 attempts from 3-point range and playing excellent defense on Miami superstars Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.
Stevenson drew attention during the Finals for making critical comments about James, whom he has feuded since they battled in Washington Wizards-Cleveland Cavaliers playoff series from 2006-2008. Stevenson called the Heat “classless” after the Mavericks clinched the title.

Wow…this is crazy. 2007 x DJ Drama all over again. The feds were apparently watching popular east coast DJ Big Mike and co. for over 2 years, and have finally gone in for arrests over selling mixtapes. I don’t understand why they can’t SELL tapes artists give CONSENT to!! The police go after the wrong things smh. That’s my personal opinon though. What do you guys think??

Surveillance teams poured hours into following suspects named “Little Mike” or “Big Mike,” also known as “DJ Big Mike,” trailing them for miles. Local police executed search warrants on three homes in Danbury, Bethel and Newtown, in addition to conducting numerous interviews with suspected accomplices.
This was some of what went into a lengthy investigation that began two years ago and culminated last week with the arrest of two brothers, Michael Willcox, 33, of Danbury and Stephen Sabato, 21, of Sandy Hook, on music piracy charges.
More arrests are expected, according to officials and an affidavit, which was filed in state Superior Court in Danbury and made available Monday.
The two brothers and their representatives could not be reached for comment Monday.

Former NBA Player Robert Horry’s 17-Year Old Daughter Passes Away

Ashlyn Horry, the 17-year-old daughter of former NBA player Robert Horry, died today from “severe respiratory issues and a host of other complications requiring a six month stay in Texas Childrens Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,” according to a report posted on Black Sports Online.
Ashlyn underwent numerous tests and multiple surgeries, according to the report, and nearly died on several other occasions. She was eventually diagnosed with the 1p36 Deletion Syndrome, a rare chromosome disease that is characterized by intellectual disability, delayed growth, seizures and respiratory problems.
Former Lakers star and current ESPN analyst Magic Johnson offered condolences on his Twitter account.
“My thoughts go out to Robert Horry and his family as they deal with the tragic loss of his daughter Ashlyn,” Johnson tweeted.
