This past Wednesday January 25th, YG, flooded his old neighborhood of Compton California with friends & spectators as he shot the first video for his upcoming 400 Degrees mixtape, “I’m A Thug”, a track that features Maybach Music Group artist Meek Mill. 57thAve was granted access to the shoot and caught the footage above from the shoot that also brought out West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle to show support, and who will also be making a cameo in the video & the upcoming 400 Degrees mixtape. Unfortunately, minutes before Meek Mill showed up to the set, gunshots ran off (which you can clearly hear in the clip) nearby and the shoot was forced to come to an abrupt end. The Sheriff’s department quickly blocked off all the streets in the surrounding area, but according to spectators, it was the police who were trigger happy that evening and no one who was actually at the shoot.
