Mendeecees Pleads Not Guilty

On the REAL Love and Hip Hop, outside the TV cameras, Mendeecees Harris pleaded 'not guilty' to drug charges...

Mendeecees Harris, his brother Tyrus and one other guy are accused of running a heroin and cocaine ring that pulled in an estimated $2.5 million between 2005 and August 2012.

Mendeecees, his brother and the other guy all pled not guilty in federal court in Rochester, NY on Friday.

Because of a prior drug charge, Mendeecees is facing a mandatory 20 year sentence if convicted. 

Mendeecees was recently acquitted of child molestation charges after he was accused of sexually exploiting his roomate's 15-year-old daughter

Real Husbands of Hollywood’ Will Have A 2nd Season

Our favorite Hollywood Husbands will be back for Season 2. Great news for BET Networks. The show stars, Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove and Robin Thicke.

Season 1 brought in a lot of numbers and laughs for the network. It is one of the ‘fakest reality shows ever.’ BET’s Stephen Hill (President of Music Programming and Specials) says:

“When we launched this series in January, we knew our audience would have as much fun watching it as we had making it, and since it has been on the air, fans have voiced on social media that they want more. So this was a pretty simple decision: ‘Hey! Let’s make more! We are beyond thrilled that Kevin Hart and the stellar Husbands will be back bickering and back-biting for another season on BET.”

Can’t wait for Season 2! It will have 12 new episodes.

Notorious B.I.G.’s Children To Star In Animated Series “House of Wallace

The Notorious B.I.G. will live on in a new animated series featuring his children — C.J. and T’yanna.  Ossian Media will produce “House of Wallace,” which revolves around C.J. and T’yanna’s efforts to keep Biggie’s Brooklyn recording studio open in the face of various hardships that arise after the rapper’s death. 

One of the trials the studio faces is the  attempt by a international music empire to take over the studio and replace it with an “entertainment factory.”  C.J. and T’yanna eventually manage to keep the studio open by turning it into a “jingle house by day” and an exclusive recording studio that makes hit albums by night.  In a press release, C.J. and T’yanna — who will voice their own character — say that they are honored to carry out Biggie’s legacy.  They add that “House of Wallace” will “bridge the gap” between their father and today’s youth who did not grow up with Biggie’s music.

Biggie Smalls isn’t the only late rapper being resurrected on screen.  Director Antoine Fuqua announced that a biopic based on the life of the late Tupac Shakur is still in the works.  Fuqua says the screenplay for the film is still in the development stages.

Hollywood Is Turning ‘Good Times’ Into A Film

Because the episode of ‘The Wayans Brothers’ when Shawn had a dazzling dream sequence about ‘Good Times’ complete with appearances by Bern Nadette Stanis, Johnny Brown and Ja’net Dubois wasn’t enough for some people — and I just slammed both of my fists on a table to emphasis the point — a film adaption of the classic sitcom is in the works.

Can you handle it? If possible, I would like to throw my hat in the ring as one of Sweet Daddy Williams’ young tender hoes.

Sony Pictures and producer Scott Rudin (‘No Country For Old Men,’ ‘The Social Network’) are in development on a feature film version of the Norman Lear-produced series.

According to Deadline.com, the movie will be set during the 1960′s, which provides writer Phil Johnston “a rich and politically charged period to mine.”

This time, she’s linked up with Kendrick Lamar for Funkmaster Flex’s new Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself? mixtape, which is expected to drop later this month. The track, titled, ‘Street Dreamin,’ is reminiscent of the vibe we used to get from 90′s Hip Hop and R&B collabs like Mary J. Blige and Method Man’s “You’re All I Need To Get By” and Nas and Lauryn Hill’s “If I Ruled The World.”
While borrowing the beat from Tupac’s, “Got My Mind Made Up,” Kendrick drops a quick hot verse before Bridget takes over and sings about dreaming of a sweeter life.

Lola Monroe And King Los Welcome A Baby Boy

It’s officially baby season!
In even more baby news today, model-turned-rapper Lola Monroe has given birth to a baby boy.
The happy mom confirmed the news to her fans earlier today when she tweeted:

To God be the Glory!!!!! Our royal gift has arrived!!! I just gave birth to our baby….!!!! LOVE

The proud father, rapper King Los, followed her tweet up with his own that read:

“A KING IS BORN!!!!! God did some amazing things for us today !!!!!

Now, there are two babies in the Taylor Gang, with Amber Rose recently giving birth to a baby boy just three weeks ago. Wiz Khalifa, who is enjoying fatherhood, offered up his congratulations to the couple:

Congrats to @Thee_LoLaMonroe and @iamKingLos on their new addition to the family. The feelings is amazing!!!

It is rumored that the baby’s name is King which seems to be a popular kid’s name in Hip Hop. Both Tyga and T.I. have sons who are named King as well.

GABRIELLE UNION TRIES OUT A COMEDY ROLE PLAYING A HORNY COP

Gabby is giving her comedy chops a spin in a brand new web series.
In the new show, titled “Riding Dirty With Officer Turner,” Gabrielle Union stars alongside some well-known comedians like Bill Bellamy and Affion Crockett as she plays an overzealous cop who gets off (literally) by pulling over random people for no reason–just because she’s bored, horny or both. As the show progresses, each of her traffic stops will reveal surprising, over the top and hilarious results.
The show is described as an over-the-top “Cops” meets “Reno: 911,” with it’s first episode scheduled for release next week on Shaquille O’Neal’s new Youtube Channel, Comedy Shaq.
Gabby’s character is sooo perverted, it’s almost gross.  “You put your balls on my nose like this.” The boys, however, will probably love it! Ha!
