JA RULE TO BEGIN 2 YEAR SENTENCE ON JUNE 8TH FOR GUN CHARGE

JaRule
Ja Rule doesn’t have to look very far when he needs someone to blame for his upcoming prison sentence. The emcee spoke with MTV News’ “Rap Fix Live” on Wednesday and said he’s the only one responsible for his legal problems. Ja says he’s both “disappointed” and “mad” at himself, noting that he has a teenage daughter and two sons that need him at home. Despite being in a bad situation, Ja Rule is optimistic that some good can come from his time behind bars. He remarks, quote, “Even if there are other kids that look at me and say, ‘Let me put my burner down.’ Even if it’s that, then there is something learned from my mistakes.”
Ja Rule was arrested in 2007 after New York police found a gun in his car. He went on to plead guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. Ja will begin serving a two-year sentence in prison on June 8th. The day before his sentence starts, the rapper will release his new album “Pain Is Love 2.”
