Eddie Murphy. “I want my girls to carry themselves well. They’re exposed to a lot of things, and I always want them to carry themselves like ladies.” Using honesty, open-mindness and love, she gently guides her daughters to pursue their desires.
High school sophomore Shayne, 16, and model Bria, 21 — who is Dark and Lovely’s newly appointed brand ambassador affectionately describe their mother as fierece and exquisite. When Ebony asked what the girls admired most about their mother, Shayne said without hesitation, “Her body is incredible.” Bria agreed, then added, “I also admire her confidence. Every kid goes through stages of being unsure, but she’s always empowered us to be really confident.”
